Our role, and yours
Enchanted Connections connects adults who love the same places. We do not run meetups, check criminal records, confirm identity documents, or guarantee anyone's identity, intentions or behaviour. You are responsible for the decisions you make about meeting and travelling with other members.
Before you meet someone
Meet in a busy public place inside a park or resort, during the day for a first meeting. Arrange your own transport there and back, so you can leave whenever you want. Tell someone you trust who you are meeting, where and when, and agree a check-in message. Video chat first if you would like more reassurance. Never give out your hotel name, room number, home address or workplace. Do not let anyone pressure you into a private or remote location, and leave at any point without explaining yourself.
Money and scams
Never send money, gift cards, crypto or bank details to a member, and never receive money on someone else's behalf. Be wary of urgent requests, hard-luck stories, investment or business pitches, visa or customs fee requests, and links that ask you to log in somewhere new. Enchanted Connections will never ask for your password or payment details by message, and we never ask members to pay a member directly. If someone asks you for money, stop talking and report them.
Your privacy
Keep your exact address, private email, phone number, workplace and booking references out of your profile, posts and messages. Check your profile visibility if you would prefer not to appear in Discover. Block and report anyone who makes you uncomfortable, and remember that a block works in both directions.
In the parks and on trips
Meet inside the park at a busy entrance or near Guest Services rather than at a hotel or car park. Keep your own tickets, passes, MagicBand or key card, phone, bags and medication with you. Know how to reach park security and Guest Services, and follow park rules and ride safety instructions. Tell a friend at home your plans each day, and consider travel insurance for trips.
If something goes wrong
Your safety comes first. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or venue security before anything else. Then block the member from their full profile and report them so our moderation team can review it. Keep screenshots and any messages, even if you are unsure whether they matter. Tell someone you trust what happened, and take a break from the app if you need one.
Adults only
Enchanted Connections is strictly for people aged 18 and over. If you believe a member is under 18, report them immediately. We close the account and delete the data.
